USING THE MICROSOFT HOLOLENS
TO PUT DHL AHEAD OF THE CURVE
Logistics giant DHL wanted to showcase their technological advancements to customers and staff, so we created a series of mixed reality Microsoft Hololens experiences to help them achieve their goals.
As one of the first brands to utilise the Hololens in this way, DHL used these interactive and scalable experiences to demonstrate their latest logistical solutions in an innovative showcase.
The Hololens experiences we created included:
- An exclusive ‘sneak peek’ portal into the innovation centre in Bonn where users could interact with a DHL-sponsored Formula E car and robot within the environment.
- A life-sized hologram of DHL’s ‘Parcelcopter’, which users were able to take on a test flight and learn about in an interactive way.
Originally exclusively available to VIPs in the DHL Formula E sponsorship areas across the world, the experience has since been rolled out internally across DHL and at global trade conferences.
As a result, DHL has been able to successfully engage customers using the latest technology, reinforcing their position as leaders in global logistics innovation.
