Kriti Sanon goes into the wild in Vogue India’s safari-themed cover story
Following the amazing retouch work done for Vogue India’s June 2016 issue by represented artist Rob Dewey, Happy Finish was delighted to work with photographer Luis Monteiro again on another cover story for Vogue India’s April 2017 issue.
This time around, the cover story features actress Kriti Sanon in an exciting safari-themed shoot in South Africa, featuring bright splashes of colour in the landscape, animals and outfits.
A number of the images in the story feature Kriti Sanon interacting with wildlife, but many of these images were created by comping the animals into the shot or by comping Kriti into the animal scene. However, Kriti was really photographed next to the herd of elephants!
Speaking on the project, artist Rob Dewey said: ‘It was shot in wet season so everything was green; therefore one main aspect was to make the scenery dry, which involves changing to drier colours but keeping balance between grass, trees and skies.”
Photographer Luis Monteiro didn’t provide references for this retouch project, but Rob and Luis have worked together on a number of previous projects and have a good understanding of each other’s style. They worked to create a fairly natural story, with a nice grade and a developed look.
